Every year is a chance to begin again and while I’m not sure where my work will go, what I’ll do, or who I’ll do it with in 2018, I can see where I want to go by looking back. In all honesty I’m not one for looking backwards but during the first week of the new year I’ve thought a lot about the work done over the course of 2017. What surprised me was my favorite work or the type of work I’d like to do in 2018 was almost all done for myself or with/for someone else (for free). So after looking at the volume of work produced in 2017 here are seventeen of my favorite or the most important pieces from 2017 that will drive where 2018 goes.
